KUNST DEM VOLK (Art of the Nation) was one of the most important and prestigious art publications produced during the Third Reich.
The magazine was published by Adolf Hitler’s friend and personal photographer, Heinrich Hoffman, in Vienna. Hitler considered Hoffman to have perfect taste in matters of art and appointed him to various advisory positions during the Third Reich.
Each issue of this large-format magazine was lavishly illustrated and it provides a unique insight into tastes in art during the National Socialist period, both contemporary and historic.
